PITTSFIELD - State Senator Benjamin B. Downing (D- Pittsfield) announces today that his next Coffee & Conversation will be held at Sangar’s Store (1895 Route 9, Windsor) on Monday, July 11th from 2-4pm.
In order to be accessible to all his constituents, no matter where they live, Senator Downing hosts monthly Coffee & Conversation open forums in rotating towns across his Berkshire, Hampshire, Franklin & Hampden district.
Each of the 52 towns in the district has graciously hosted the Senator, his staff, and interested local residents at least once since the program began in 2008. This Monday will mark the 74th Coffee & Conversation and the last such event before formal sessions for the 189th General Court end on July 31st.
All are welcome to join Senator Downing and his staff during these events to pose a question, submit a comment or pitch an idea regarding state government. Downing provides free coffee and refreshments for those who attend.
