Pittsfield – Senator Benjamin B. Downing (D- Pittsfield) will host his first Coffee & Conversation event of the New Year in Lee on Friday, January 13, 2012.
Each year Downing hosts ten Coffee & Conversation events – open public forums in rotating towns across his Berkshire, Hampshire and Franklin Senate District. All are welcome to join the Senator to ask a question, submit a comment or pitch an idea regarding state government.
On January 13th, Downing’s Coffee & Conversation will take place in the Gallery of the Lee Library, located at 100 Main Street, from 11:00am-1:00pm. Downing will provide free coffee and refreshments to those interested in meeting with their State Senator face-to-face.
While Downing’s community relations and constituent services hub is his 7 North Street, Suite 307 district office in Pittsfield, he recognizes that serving the largest, most rural district in the Massachusetts Senate presents communication challenges. The Pittsfield office is open during normal business hours Monday through Friday; walk-ins are always welcome.
