Pittsfield – Senator Benjamin B. Downing (D- Pittsfield) will host his final Coffee & Conversation event of the year in Goshen next Monday, November 28th.
Each year Downing hosts ten Coffee & Conversation events – open public forums in rotating towns across his Berkshire, Hampshire and Franklin Senate District. These monthly events are scheduled to resume after the holiday season in January 2012.
On November 28th, Downing’s Coffee & Conversation will take place at Goshen Town Hall, located at 42 Main Street, from 3-5pm. During that time, Downing will provide free coffee and refreshments and be available to those interested in meeting with their State Senator face-to-face.
While Downing’s community relations and constituent services hub is his 7 North Street district office in Pittsfield, he recognizes that serving the largest, most rural district in the Massachusetts Senate presents communication challenges. The Pittsfield office is open during normal business hours Monday through Friday; walk-ins are always welcome.
