Pittsfield – Senator Benjamin B. Downing (D- Pittsfield) is bringing his monthly Coffee & Conversation open meeting to Adams on Monday, October 24, 2011.
Each year Downing hosts ten Coffee & Conversation events – public forums in rotating towns across his Berkshire, Hampshire and Franklin Senate District. Next month, the Senator plans to hold his final C&C event of the year in Goshen.
On October 24th, Downing’s Coffee & Conversation will take place in the Conference Room of the Adams Visitors Center, located at 3 Hoosac Road, from 3-5pm. During that time, Downing will provide free coffee and refreshments and be available to those interested in meeting with their State Senator face-to-face.
While Downing’s community relations and constituent services hub is his 7 North Street district office in Pittsfield, he recognizes that serving the largest, most rural district in the Massachusetts Senate presents communication challenges. The Pittsfield office is open during normal business hours Monday through Friday; walk-ins are always welcome.
