Got a question for Senator Downing? Ask it now!
October 11, 2011

Boston – State Senator Benjamin B. Downing (D- Pittsfield) is now accepting questions to address during his Online Town Hall Forum, which will be streamed live via next Monday, October 17th from 6:00-7:00PM.
This event, first-of-its-kind to be held in Berkshire County by an elected official, will allow Downing to chat directly with constituents who are unable to meet with him personally. Downing will respond to questions submitted by viewers via email, Facebook and Twitter prior to and during the event. A guest host – Pittsfield Community Television’s David Cachat – will facilitate the conversation.
All residents of the Senator’s Berkshire, Hampshire and Franklin District are encouraged to submit a question that may be used during the event. No topic is off limits and all questions will be considered, however due to time restraints, every submitted question may not be addressed.
Questions can be submitted now by using the “Contact” link at, or by posting them to the Senator’s Facebook fan page or Twitter account -- #BBDtownhall. These messages should be clearly identified as questions for the Online Town Hall Forum.
Logging onto the Online Town Hall Forum on October 17th is free at
