Pittsfield – Senator Benjamin B. Downing (D- Pittsfield) resumes his monthly Coffee & Conversation program next Monday, April 25th in Lenox.
Each year Downing hosts ten Coffee & Conversation events – open public forums in rotating towns across his Berkshire, Hampshire and Franklin Senate District. Following Lenox, Downing plans to hold similar events in the communities of North Adams, Monroe, Middlefield, Lee, Lanesborough and Adams on Monday evenings throughout 2011.
On April 25th, Downing’s Coffee & Conversation will take place at the Lenox Community Center, located at 65 Walker Street, from 4-6pm. During that time, Downing will provide free coffee and pastries and be available to those interested in meeting with their State Senator face-to-face.
While Downing’s community relations and constituent services hub is his 7 North Street district office in Pittsfield, he recognizes that serving the largest, most rural district in the Massachusetts Senate presents communication challenges. The Pittsfield office is open during normal business hours Monday through Friday; walk-ins are always welcome.
