PRESS RELEASE- Maple Sugar Event Comes to Goshen March 01, 2007
Boston-State Senator Benjamin B. Downing (D-Pittsfield) announces the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s (DCR) maple sugaring programs happening at Goshen’s Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) State Forest during the month of March.March is maple sugaring time in New England, and DCR has several interesting, educational and entertaining maple sugaring events.
DAR will give interpretive tours from on weekdays, continuing throughout the month of March.Large groups should call in advance for appropriate accommodations at (413) 268-7098.
